Resumen
This article reviews certain feminist contributions to the philosophy of language. It shows how these perspectives, by revealing androcentric biases or asymmetries in communicative power, provide critical tools to the philosophy of language and propose strategies to resist linguistic injustices. Three approaches are analyzed: 1) discursive or illocutionary injustices that fall within the theory of speech acts, 2) hermeneutic injustice that articulates language theory with epistemology, exploring communicational environments, and 3) linguistic activism that studies how social movements make changes in dominant concepts and narratives to confront systematic injustices.
