Imageries que evangelizan en la Ruta de la Plata: El programa iconografico del baptisterio de la iglesia de Curahuara de Carangas

The present article pursues to establish the main characteristics of the iconographic program on the baptistery of the church of Curahuara de Carangas, and to comprehend the way how these cycles of images operated within the indigenous population, which observed and was the main target of their content. Besides, as these images are understood as the foundation of the construction of a particular memory, it is important to recognize how its different dimensions intersect in the iconographic program represented.
