Resumen
This article describes the implementation of the problem-based learning (PBL) methodology as a teaching innovation strategy to achieve the learning objectives of the Lawyering Skills course. The main virtues of this methodology and its application from a comparative perspective are presented and how, after a diagnosis of the mentioned subject, its implementation was considered as suitable for the achievement of the skills and abilities pursued in that class. An account is given of the PBL design process for the subject and what were the main challenges for its implementation, not only pedagogical but also logistical, administrative, formative, etcetera. Evidence of the implementation experience is also provided through the results of perception surveys applied to students, as well as a focus group conducted with teachers.
