Resumen
In this article, I propose that Canto a su amor desaparecido (1985) by Raúl Zurita invites readers to imagine the reinstatement of voices destroyed by the dictatorship through the elaboration of a visual lament about horror and pain. From this standpoint, the text analyzes the representation of torture, focusing on the language and stories being told by the voices that sprout from dissident bodies.
