Resumen
This contribution presents a novel approach for performing fuzzy structural analysis involving linear static problems. The key aspect of the proposed approach is approximating the displacement vector via a first order expansion that involves intervening variables. In addition, linearity of the structural response with respect to load is also exploited in the proposed approach. An example illustrates the advantages of the proposed approach in terms of accuracy.
