Algunos aspectos en relación con el desarrollo jurídico del concepto yihad en el oriente islámico medieval y al-andalus

This study presents a synthesis of the legal development which gives origin to the concept of Yihad in Classical Islam. From this point of view, it shows the work of jurists both in the East and the West, mainly in al-Andalus. It finally includes a translation of part of the treatise of as-Sulami called Kitab al-Yihad, regarded as essential for the eleventh and twelfth centuries.
