abstract = "This work presents the integration of a photovoltaic thermal system (PVT) with a humidification dehumidification desalination (HDH) system. The heat extracted from the PVT collector can be used to preheat seawater or air for its posterior use in the HDH desalination system, while the cooling achieved of PV cells increases their efficiency. The combination of both technologies has the potential of increasing the energy efficiency of the whole system and provide a better desalination solution.",
