Abstract
The article argues that Alejandra Pizarnik’s work has a close relationship with apophasis, indicating an acute awareness of the inadequacy of verbal means and, consequently, of the radical impossibility faced by all forms of writing. The essay focuses on examining the various manifestations of apophasis in Pizarnik’s work, as well as the multiple meanings that silence acquires in her pages, understanding that silence constitutes the last and paradoxical expression of a discourse marked by the awareness of its own insufficiency.
