Abstract
BiFeO3 is synthesized by the solvothermal method to study structural, magnetic and dielectric properties. The rhombohedral crystal structure of BiFeO3 is confirmed from X-ray diffraction and Raman studies. Room temperature magnetization shows antiferromagnetic nature of the sample. Resistivity as a function of temperature at different frequencies shows positive temperature coefficient of resistivity (PTCR) behavior of the sample. Loss decreases with increase in temperature in the PTCR region.
