Abstract

The magnetic hysteresis parameters like coercivity Hc, remanent flux density Br, maximum flux density Bm and saturation magnetisation Ms of Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 (x=0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5) prepared by the non-conventional flash combustion and citrate-gel decomposition techniques are studied and reported. It is observed that the coercivity decreases with increasing zinc content as well as the sintering temperature. The observed values of remanent flux density and maximum flux density are quite low.
