Abstract
Based on José Ángel Cuevas' poetry published in the dictatorship, this article studies the tensions between the local and the transnational. From this problematic, it also analizes the representation of the city during the regime and also before the Military Coup, where the tension between both dinamic parties is lived differently by the poetic voice, presenting a dinamic and critical dialogue.
