Abstract
In this work we explore relationships between the personal and the im- personal through the figure of the reader and a subject characterized by desires and frustrations. Analyzing a series of affects, we propose that the appropriation of scien- tific texts works as a form of extimity. Cociña elaborates a poetic in which plagiarism responds to the need of breaking an immediate relationship between memory and expression. This way, Cociña blurs essencialist ways of belonging, articulating new relationships between community and subjectivity.
