N2 - In this erratum, we address an error in figure 2 of our paper titled “Searching for light neutralinos with a displaced vertex at the LHC”, which is reproduced in figure 1 (left) in this erratum. In the original publication, the y-axis label in this plot incorrectly suggests that the production cross section pp → e˜χ0 scales with λ′2 111. As illustrated in figure 1 (right), this assumption holds only for small values of λ′111, specifically when λ′2 111 ≪ 10−1. This erroneous assumption stemmed from the narrow width approximation, which proved inaccurate for large values of λ′111 by which the total decay width of the selectron (˜eL), is largely enhanced and dominated, with the decay channel ˜eL → ¯ud. It is important to note that the scaling assumption of the cross section pp → e˜χ0 with λ′2 111 was explicitly stated only in figure 2 of our paper. This assumption was not utilized in the subsequent calculations. Therefore, our numerical results and conclusions remain unaltered. We thank Wei Liu for pointing out the issue in figure 2.
