Abstract

Higher education sectors have become highly competitive. This has led the participating institutions to respond to changes in the social environment with improvements in the quality of their academic supply. To analyze the academic research, scientometrics is used on the production documented in WoS. There are 120 contemporary prolific authors who present a high concentration in the category education and educational research, as well as in the journals where they publish and the universities to which they are affiliated.
