Abstract

Within the framework of the teaching role in the educational service, a qualitative research is carried out, through the analysis of the discourse of university academics, establishing as an object of study the subjectivity of teachers associated with educational practices, with the objective of describing the characteristics of the teaching practices from the teachers' perception. The methodology that allows access to subjective data is of a qualitative approach, within the framework of discourse analysis, in which Zaltman's metaphor elicitation technique is implemented to stimulate a narrative, and to develop a content analysis of semi-structured interviews carried out with key informants selected for convenience. The results show the perception of the academics in a map of processes of teaching practices in the educational service, from subjective data of the informants, made up of conceptual constructs of consensus, present in their narratives stimulated by images, concluding in the identification on the map. of consensus processes, the existence of three relevant circuits related to the processes of motivation, context and innovation, which allow feedback to the learning process, collaborating in a discussion for the understanding of educational practices in terms of processes and from the perspective of the teacher.
