Research Interests
Paola has a PhD in engineering and materials science from the Universidad de Chile and mechanical civil engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. She has worked for more than 15 years as a professor, teaching undergraduate courses in the areas of materials, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics, as well as graduate courses in the areas of energy efficiency and sustainable construction. Her line of research covers the study of sustainable materials and their processing through mechanical alloying and sintering.
