Personal profile

Research Interests

His areas of research are political philosophy and the history of political ideas. His research has two main axes. The first one consists of the readings, interpretations and influences that Thucydides' History of the Peloponnesian War has had on political thought and political philosophy. The second is about what is and how the concept of political power in Thucydides is constituted, considering on the one hand its changes when it is deployed in the temporal and geographical dimensions constitutive of the human being's historical endeavor, on the other what constitutes its essence over those categories.
