Research Interests

As a Genetic Epidemiologist and Data Scientist, my research integrates multi-omic data—including genomics, epigenomics, and proteomics—to understand how inherited predispositions and environmental factors influence brain and cardiovascular aging. My current work focuses on developing population-specific biological aging clocks tailored to Latin American cohorts, directly addressing a critical gap in health equity. By combining classical epidemiology with advanced computational tools and machine learning, I aim to translate complex molecular signatures into actionable, equitable clinical tools for managing age-related complex diseases.
