Active operation of future distribution networks with emphasis on energy efficiency and the integration of low carbon technologies (e.g., photovoltaics, electric vehicles, energy storage). Also, proposing operational frameworks to make possible the provision of services from these distributed energy resourcest, while making sure the distribution network integrity is not compromised.
