Personal profile

Research Interests

My research interest is focused on Spanish lexicon and grammar from the perspectives of sociolinguistics, dialectology, and lexicon-statistics. Some of the topics I have researched are 1) linguistic (in)politeness, 2) pronominal subject variation, particularly of third-person singular pronouns (SP) in the dialects of Caracas, Montevideo, Medellín, and Santiago de Chile, and 3) lexical semantics. I am currently studying the topic of lexical availability among Chilean university students.
