My research areas integrate the use of empirical and physical modeling to understand ecology processes and spatial patterns in relation to the effect of climate change on natural vegetation in Chile. Especially, I am interested in the use of remote sensing data, such as satellite or drone data, and the use of modern tools such as deep learning.
