Research Interests
I do research on educational topics that combine astronomy and mathematics with different professors of the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences of the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Universidad Católica and also with professors at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Currently two works in development both in final drafting process: (1) Revisiting Aristaco's method to estimate the ratio of the distances from Earth to the Sun and the Moon, Hugo Caerols-Felipe A. Asenjo-Rafael Brahm-Martín Avendaño (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) (2) Estimating the distance to the moon using high resolution pictures, Martín Avendaño (UCM)-Hugo Caerols. Two works in initial stage, one with Professor Marta Folgeira (UCM) and the other with Professor Gladys Farias (UAI).
