Research Interests
Her research interests include international migration in South America, youth and poverty, school segregation, educational innovation, and mixed-studies. Her current research focuses on peer segregation of high school immigrant students in Chile and to what extent national-, school-, and classroom-level educational policies and practices foster, promote, or support their integration with peers. Her work puts in conversation different theories and methodologies contributing to the interdisciplinary debate and understanding of immigrants’ peer relationships.
