Personal profile

Research Interests

I am a sociologist and in recent years I have been interested in analyzing the experiences of people whose work and communication activities increasingly depend on a digital platform. From influencers, musicians, Mercado Libre sellers, to delivery people and app drivers. My motivation to study these diverse platform jobs that are organized and executed on YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, Uber, among others, has to do with a broader interest in understanding the transformations that markets and work cultures are undergoing as a consequence of digitization and automation.
