Personal profile
Research Interests
My main research area is Latin America’s process of modernization, both from a literary and from a philosophical point of view. The concept of autonomy —cultural, political, philosophical, artistic, etc.— plays a key role in my own understanding of the period. I am also interested in comparative studies that deal with the migration of ideas and forms between Latin America and the rest of the world.
