Her research focuses on social demography, early childhood, inequality and poverty. Her research work has been published in international journals such as Social Science and Medicine, American Journal of Sociology, among others. She is currently working on her Fondecyt de Iniciación on issues of parentality and inequalities in childhood, as well as projects with administrative data on child poverty and vulnerability trajectories. She is an associate researcher at the Center for Surveys and Longitudinal Studies, adjunct researcher at COES and adjunct researcher at the Millennium Nucleus on Intergenerational Mobility.
